Tutorial classes are run on a semester basis, first semester starting at the beginning of the school year and second semester starting at the beginning of third school term (with a break for the mid-year school holiday).People from all walks of life meet to pit their wits against investment markets, exchange ideas and strategies, and with the aim to “make a quid”. Classes are mostly to do with share trading, value and growth investing, and the fundaments of technical analysis and research. In-class participation by members is actively encouraged. Occasional guest speakers give presentations on investment-related and financial topics.
